Service Description

Goa, the smallest state in India, is home to 4% of the world's bird species, or about 570 of India's 1364 species. Numerous permanent and migratory species can be found in the forest regions of Goa, which are part of the Western Ghats. We offer two forest excursions: Forest Birding at Dawn and Night Safaris for Wildlife. You can select the option that best suits you. Nocturnal Quests Our night safari starts soon after dusk. You can opt for jungle night safari in which you may get to see mammals such as leopards, bisons, slender lloris, Indian giant flying squirrels, snakes, gerbils, frogmouth, nightjars and owls while admiring the beautiful night sky and the fire flies flying around the trees like Christmas decorations. (Advised to wear long clothing and insect repellant). Forest Birding by Day We begin our birding session at dawn at Goa’s Famous wildlife sanctuary, where we will get to see many passerine birds such as Malabar Parakeet, Malabar Pied Hornbills, Malabar grey hornbills, Malabar Barbet, Black-napped Monarch, Chestnut-headed Bee-eater, Dark-fronted Babbler, yellow throated bulbul, etc. We take a short breakfast break and resume birding at a different location. While birding we might come across Malabar giant squirrels, Indian bison, Indian flying lizard and spotted deer. Birding here is easy and beginner friendly.
